Former Plastic Surgeon Dr. Joel Roskind to Pursue Teaching
Friday, February 26th, 2010After a thirty year career as a plastic surgeon, New York’s Dr. Joel Roskind now plans to extend his expertise to other physicians, both ordained and up-and-coming. Established doctors may benefit from conferring with him in the areas of practice management and outpatient facility accreditation. On the clinical side, medical students at Boston University will have the chance to take Integrated Problems, a differential diagnosis class, from Joel Roskind MD.
Dr. Joel Roskind draws on a wealth of expertise that includes running a large, successful practice; serving as an inspector for the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgery Facilities (AAASF); instructing at half a dozen medical schools and serving on a three-man plastic surgery team in the United States Navy.
At Boston University he will lecture a differential diagnosis class titled Integrated Problems. Roskind MD has previously instructed at Boston University, as well as the University of California, San Diego, the Nassau University Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital, Cornell Medical School and the University Of Miami School Of Medicine.
And, Dr. Joel Roskind is an veteran teacher. He has previously instructed at Boston University, as well as the Nassau University Medical Center, North Shore University Hospital, Cornell Medical School and the University of California, San Diego. He is also the former Voluntary Clinical Assistant Professor or Surgery at the University Of Miami School Of Medicine.
Joel Roskind looks forward to bringing his expertise to a broader audience of medical pupils, practicing physicians and surgeons and operators of ambulatory surgery facilities. In what assures to be a very active retirement, Joel Roskind also plans to pursue studies in Judaic spirituality.
